Spiritual Responsibility

 Day 37:  Numbers 2:17-34; 3:14-39; 4:1-49; 3:40-51

I don't always want to do what God tells me to do.  There are times I struggle with the tasks that God tells me to do.  Being a minister...preacher...teacher...leader is challenging and demanding.  Taking responsibility to lead and teach others about spiritual responsibility isn't for the faint of heart.  There are times I get tired.  Weary.  Frustrated.  Irritated.  People can be hard to lead; especially if they don't want to change or work or be lead.

In Numbers 2 God gives the Levites responsibilities around the tabernacle.  They were responsible for the care, set-up, take down and maintain of the tabernacle.  Their tasks were of great importance because it was the meeting place of God.

When we surrender our life to Christ, we take on spiritual responsibilities that will not only help us eternally, but others, too.  Living the Jesus life means we must live what God's Word says and be the example that Jesus was to the people he encountered in his life.

Follow.  Live.  Speak.  Serve.  Love.  Teach.  Honor God, all of the are traits of being spiritually responsible.  To be spiritually responsible means we will have to take our faith seriously and not get side tracked by worldly distractions and give into temptations that will rob our relationship with God.

Being spiritually responsible means we will help others see Jesus through the life we live every day.

Remember, Be God Controlled!
